Someone told me that the cactus has to be 75 years old before it will start to flower like this. I don't know if that's true or not but I didn't see any flowers on the smaller cacti.

Quilt For Mom

I am making a quilt for my mom for Christmas. It's kind of hard to tell but it's a tree. I have the grand kids hand prints as the leaves and the kid and in-law hand prints as the trunk. Of course in this shot I hadn't gotten every ones hand prints yet. I wanted to lay it out to see what it looked like and I don't know if I like it. The border looks too busy too me.
